Versatility

• High-strength aluminum top and bottom rails combine with durable composite steel panels for optimal performance. The versatile Champion CP can be customized with a number of options:
  •  High Base Rail option for greater side wall protection
  • Flexible Cargo Securement on 16", 24" and 50" logistic centers
  • Floor Strength load rating options available in 20K, 22K & 24K
  • Roll-Up Door option for more efficient loading and unloading

Corrosion Defense

• Hot-dipped galvanization is a standard feature on Champion rear impact guards, support gear mounting plate, bracing, k-brace, x-drive shaft, and anti-nosedive legs. This uniform zinc coating helps shield vital components, ensuring top-notch protection in harsh environments. 

EnduroGuard Rear Frame

• The EnduroGuard rear frame provides an effective barrier against corrosion that delivers enhanced durability and enduring appearance throughout the life of the trailer. The structurally superior rear frame design resists scaling, flaking, and discoloration.

Enhanced HDGV Rear Impact Guard

• Great Dane’s ToughGuard awarded rear impact guard is standard on all Great Dane trailer models, increasing safety in rear-impact collisions. Due to the rear impact guard’s bolt-on design, a retrofit option is available to upgrade rear impact guards on 2007 and later models. The retrofit can be installed easily at any authorized Great Dane service center. 

Durable Floor System

• The durable floor system provides strength in key high-stress areas. A 1.38” laminated hardwood floor is secured with 2 screws in an alternating pattern and is available with 3 screws for added strength. Composite floor options provide higher floor ratings while saving weight. Floors can be further protected, partially at the rear or full length, with an optional floor treatment that protects hardwood against the harshest operating conditions by penetrating the surface. This creates a virtually waterproof barrier of protection on the topside of the floor. An optional hot-melt polyurethane reactive undercoating can be used on the underside of trailer floors, serving as an additional moisture barrier to increase durability and reduce floor maintenance costs.

Accuride Accu-Lite Steel Wheels

• The Accuride Accu-Lite 65-pound steel wheel comes standard on the Champion. These wheels allow for increased payload and fuel savings without reducing load rating.

Sidewall Protection

• A full-length, one-piece extruded aluminum bottom rail with integral scuffband design adds strength and rigidity and helps reduce sidewall bulging. An additional 6" galvanized steel scuff is installed above the 5" aluminum interior bottom rail to provide extra protection from forklift damage.

This simple wheel end installation, which now includes Auto-Torq spindle nuts, helps eliminate complexity and specialty tools, is compatible with all hub manufacturers, and guarantees optimal bearing load for extended service life. With an integrated locking mechanism ensuring security and easy removal, you'll gain peace of mind and efficiency while saying goodbye to washers, clips, snap rings, screws, and keepers.
